This sculpture, created for the third-year art show, is inspired by the theme of culture and the coming together of diverse traditions and communities. Made from wire, cardboard, tissue paper, tape, and glue, the piece reflects a sense of unity through its layered construction. The cardboard represents the different layers, traditions, and individuals that come together, supporting one another to form a sense of community. A gold-painted hand symbolizes one culture, while the plain, exposed cardboard signifies another, emphasizing contrast and coexistence. Extending off the wall, the sculpture creates a dynamic presence, while the flat cardboard pieces surrounding the base are inspired by nature and growth, grounding the piece in organic transformation.
